Production Process  

In order to produce H-beam with good quality and low cost, it is first necessary to determine a reasonable production process. Generally, the small H-beams are mostly billets, and the large H-beams are mostly special-shaped billets. The square billets and special-shaped billets can be supplied by continuous casting or by blooming directly. After finishing and weighing, the billet is loaded into the walking furnace and heated to 1200-1250℃. Most of the walking furnaces use double insulated slide rails and axial flow burners, which can provide the best temperature control for different specifications of billets and save fuel. After the billet is released from the furnace, it is first descaled with 1800MPa high-pressure water, and then sent to the billet mill for rolling. The billeting machine is generally a two-roll reversible rolling mill. It needs to be rolled about 7 to 13 passes on the billeting machine, and then the rolled piece is sent to the hot saw, which is only responsible for cutting off the unformed parts of the head and tail. Finally, the rolled piece is sent to the universal roughing mill for rolling. Generally, it is sent to the universal finishing mill after several passes, and is rolled for one pass and finally formed. At this time, the head and tail are cut off again, and the rolled piece is cut into fixed length according to the order requirements and sent to the cooling bed for cooling.
